Strawberry Mint Infused Water

Tina Ruggiero

Spring has arrived and we are now experiencing warmer weather – yes!

At least that’s the case in the U.S. I have never been this excited for spring. Something about last winter made me long for it to be over. Oh! I know! It was being pregnant with baby Amora.

Here is what it was about: winter + pregnancy = not good! There!

It’s like, gravity is not on your side already as it is, but add cold to the fact that none of your winter coats fit (and buying one costs a fortune!). Imagine gravity not being on your side and yet ice being everywhere?! Yeah… I couldn’t wait for winter to be over.

Anyhoo, during pregnancy one extremely important thing to keep practicing is taking lots of water (I know, water and winter do not go together, huh? ) …. Well, I am happy to report though, during that time I religiously followed best practices on drinking water. Currently, post-pregnancy, I have gone rogue.

Yet, I have found the solution!

Hydrating and addicting infused water.

That’s right! Today, in honor of spring I wanted to get you kicking with some refreshing water ideas. And this Strawberry Mint-infused water is so exciting for that reason!

Why is mint-infused water best during spring?

Firstly, strawberries are perfect this time of year heading into the summer. Secondly, I knew that I loved fresh mint in hot tea, but never really tried it with a cold beverage.

How about all the benefits of herbs and fruit adding a great flavor to your water? I am telling you, this strawberry mint-infused water not only looks refreshing, but it tastes great!

May you bask in the joys of this recipe, and if you love it, come back and let me know. I would love to hear about your experience!
