I’d like to get your take on Michael’s Pollan’s suggestion, which appeared in the New York Times Magazine this week, that American’s would be better off eating less meat and more plants. Of course, things are not quite as simple as that, which is what the long article explains. I found it a fascinating and important perspective.

Hey Tina – congratulations on your blog. I look forward to reading it. There is so much misinformation in the marketplace about topics of nutrition and wellness that it will be great to have a source to run ideas by. Good luck!

Welcome to the blogosphere Tina — way cool.
This is a great idea — both for us colleagues to learn some healthy, common-sense nutrition & lifestyle tips, but so too for external readers.
As someone who underwent emergency, life-saving surgery a year-ago May to repair an accidentially-discovered massive annuerism and faulty aortic valve, I’ve re-evaluated not just health issues but also life issues.
Nutrition is key — and so I look forward to learning more … but not necessarily from fad diets and new-wave ideas.
Seems to me that basic moderation and modest exercise is a good balance for the future.
Look forward to your thoughts.
Best … Paul
